The client required a project manager to complete a contract which had been started by another principal contractor.
The main excavation and secant piled wall for a two level undercroft car park had been started. The substructure, load bearing slab and 10 storey concrete frame had to be programmed, resourced and completed within the original contract completion date.
The Client’s production output relied on the ability to chill product on site. The brief detailed the upgrading of ageing refrigeration equipment from several manufactures and compliance with the EC Ozone Regulations
The project design and specification was by the Client. The construction work for factory extension had to be completed without affecting the Client’s daily business.
The project completion date and final cost were paramount & all equipment delivery dates were critical.
